Coors Brewery Tour, Golden CO

The Coors Brewery in Golden, CO resumed group tours in March after being closed for 2 years because of the pandemic. We were able to get tickets for the 2:30 pm tour on April 1. It was more interesting than I anticipated - I had no idea that Coors had so many brands of beer, including Blue Moon which is a favorite. The tour highlighted the history of the brewery, the beer making process and the differences between the beers produced.

The tour included three samplings, and we got to try some beers that are not commonly found outside Colorado. My favorite was the Batch 19, a pre-prohibition style lager. We got to keep our three aluminium beer cups each, and then some, as souvenirs.
