Shoshone Falls and Boise, ID
We left our campground and headed to Boise, ID. I will be taking my RV to get the door locks fixed. Since we are likely to have to leave the RV at the dealership, Debi booked a room using her points with the Marriott. We decided to make a quick stop at Shoshone Falls just outside of Twin Falls. Since it was early in the morning we had the place almost to ourselves. The Falls were powerful and beautiful, with interpretive posters at the park to describe its history. The falling water through the morning sunlight resulted in lovely rainbows.
We made it to the Larry H. Miller Chrsyler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership near noon. The service people there were very customer oriented, got my vehicle logged in, they expected to get the van fixed in a day. Called us an uber to take us to the hotel. We had to clear the fridge/freezer. Debi had packed her stuff the night before since she will be flying home the next day, while I packed an overnight bag. We checked into the Residence Inn by Marriott and had the luxury of spreading out in a suite. Ate some leftovers for lunch, rested, did not feel like going anywhere despite the fact that downtown Boise was within walking distance. Later in the evening, we walked to Papa Joe's Restaurant for some Italian food and great wine.
