Little Talbot Island State Park, FL
Made my way down to Florida, it got much warmer. Took about 6 hours, stopping for gas and groceries near Jacksonville. The Little Talbot Island State Park campground was not what I expected. It was across from the state park itself, heavily forested with Spanish moss hanging down the branches.
I expected there to be mosquitoes and took the opportunity to set up my new tent awning. When I opened the awning bag I
found that I had lost the instructions. Cell signal was only one bar so I was not able to google it. However I figured it out from previously watching a how-to video before I bought the tent and managed to get it set up just before sunset!
It was nice to have space to spread out; cooked a quick one pot rice, meat and veggie dinner before calling it a day.
